Had an accident yesterday at coate water roundabout,was heading up marlborough road from dayhouse lane when a car came out of coate water park and hit me side on.Myself I consider very lucky just cuts and bruises,as for the bike its a total wreck frame bent wheels destroyed etc.The guy who hit me admitted he was at fault and hes insured got all the details etc.There was a witness who saw it all got his details also.Im waiting now for his insurance company to get in touch.
I wondered if anyone here had a simluar experience ,and if they had dealings with insurance firms before.
Forgot to mention my shorts(not soiled) jersey and shoes were mangled aswell.
Ive only been roadbiking a month Im a MTBer making the transition,its knocked my confidence a lot dont know if im gonna get another road bike might just stick to the ridgeway.
