The Evening Advertiser Cup was presented to Swindon Wheelers in 1931, just 8 years after the club's
formation.
It was awarded for points achieved over the course of the year. Past winners include several people who will be known to Swindon cyclists today like Den Hedges, Clive Alexander, Jesse Titcombe and Paul Jefferies.
The cup was found by Clive Alexander when he was clearing out his loft - he was the last recipient of the Trophy, in 1974
